How should I dress?

Be sure to keep an eye on the weather so that you dress appropriately. During this time of year, you will need to be prepared for cold, and possibly rain. When spending extended time outdoors, during days where colder temperatures are likely, it's best to dress in layers. You can find a good resource for learning more about dressing in layers here.

What should I bring?

Most of the gear required for the adventure will be provided. You will be responsible for your clothing and any personal items you wish to bring along, such as a toothbrush or any daily medications.

To cut down on the weight you will have to carry up and back down the mountain, limit the extra clothes you bring to a change of your base layer (under garments and socks).

Pack your extra clothes in one or two 1-gallon Zip Lock bag(s). If you think you need to bring more than what you can wear or fit in 2 1-gallon Zip Lock bags, re-evaluate what you truly need. Your back will thank you.
